Techno CNC Plasma
Cutter Workshops |
First Plasma Workshop
· Second Plasma
Workshop |
The
first Techno CNC
Plasma Cutter workshop was held by the Corps of Discovery in Mandan,
North Dakota on July 27th and 28th, 2010. Students, who were actually
teachers learning the New Techno CNC Plasma Cutter, spent two days in
training and received a graduate credit from the University of North
Dakota. They were exposed to a complete package; the Techno CNC Plasma
Cutter, Techno CNC Interface and new Techno CNC Plasma Cutting
Curriculum. Students tested the new curriculum and produced all of the
parts in the manual. Many even made their own parts and left with the
confidence to use the system in their classrooms. |

“I think the CNC
Plasma Cutter is an amazing piece of equipment. The types of cuts
you can make with it compare to nothing else. The stand and all
parts of the equipment can not be compared to anything on the market
today. It is very, very sturdy and does not jump or move when using
it. Every part of the equipment is great. The curriculum is very
easy to follow and is very instructive. After using the lessons, it
is very easy to use and understand the total process.”

"The manual is well written with
enough detail that you sill succeed if you follow it. It covers
enough information to do the projects and gives you the background
to move onto doing your own projects.
The plasma cutter is well designed and is going to work for you no
mater what material you are going to cut."

"The tool is
amazing! It allow you to put into practice real world industry
skills. It will get kids thinking of job possibilities or
personal projects they could make. Easy to use, program and
setup. I really like the test cut feature, that seems to take
the guess work out of setting up the machine. It will save time
and money for instructors. Many people don’t realize that they
are capable of running or producing products from a machine like
this. I think it will open students and administration’s eyes.
Students with these skills have such an advantage heading into
continuing education or on the job training."
